Artist Statement

I create mixed media paintings that playfully combine multiple types of paint, layers of wood, stained glass, glass pebbles and a variety of other materials. My subject matter ranges from abstract to realistic often including images such as flowers, landscapes, and people. I enjoy creating work that invites exploration into texture, color and movement.
